NCB Cayman is proud to announce that two members of its Cayman Islands team have been shortlisted in the international Citywealth Future Leaders Awards 2022.
Alessandro Sax, CFA has been shortlisted in the Investment Director of the Year category and Cheyenna Calderon for Private Banker of the Year.
The Future Leaders Awards is a programme for up and coming leaders in the global wealth management and private client industry. Citywealth introduced the Future Leaders awards in 2016 following the success of the 2015 Tomorrow Club awards with the aim of championing young professionals in the wealth sector and highlighting the leaders of today and tomorrow.
The contest has four judging components which are:
Submissions or judge recommendation (having worked with advisors/managers) in the industry
A judge’s lunch to review submissions
A shortlist goes online for publicity purposes and to engage the global industry to vote
The judges make up 90% of the final decision and the online vote 10%. These are put together, and the winners announced at an awards ceremony on 16 November 2022.
Tuula Jalasjaa, managing director of NCB Cayman Limited and NCB Capital Markets Cayman Limited, said: “As a boutique offshore private bank and investment manager, client relationships are at the heart of everything we do and the successful development of the next generation of advisors is absolutely key.
“We have a superb team here and we pride ourselves on providing clients with a hands-on, boutique private banking experience. This is something which is acknowledged in our client feedback and it is very gratifying to have it recognised by an industry leading organisation like Citywealth. We’d like to thank Karen Jones and the team at Citywealth for giving us the opportunity to shine a light on our Cayman Islands team and we wish Alessandro and Cheyenna the very best of luck.”
